Some days you just have to fly.
I'd just finished an 11 hour shift at the day job and was on my way home - but - presented with fantastic skies after a heavy thunderstorm, I just couldn't resist the temptation. Student Pat Fenn was up for some fun so we met up for a quick flight. We topped out at FL80, VFR above ragged patchy cloud. Stunning, just stunning. It was bloomin' cold though, so a spiral descent (at up to 2000'/min) and a greaser to boot saw us on the ground lickety split. Fabulous - and well worth a late tea when I eventually got home. We love to FLY here at Mid Anglia Microlights, not just teach
Here's Pat and November Victor with 'busy' skies in the background.

It's great when ex-students come to see us; here's Mike Farrer in his Murphy Maverick taildragger - lovely!
